The 2023 School-Located Immunization Program will Provide Flu Vaccines in Schools

The School-Located Immunization Program for 2023 has concluded for the year. We look forward to working with our partners and families in 2024!

The School-Located Immunization Program in southeast Minnesota provides influenza (flu) vaccine to students in all schools in Olmsted County, Hayfield, Kasson-Mantorville, Triton schools in Dodge County, Pine Island schools in Olmsted and Goodhue Counties, and most Mower County schools. The flu vaccine will be provided in those schools this fall for the 2023-2024 school year.

It is crucial for everyone, six months of age and older, to get the flu vaccine. Flu can cause serious problems in young children, older adults, and people with medical conditions. It could further reduce school attendance, parent work attendance, and lessen health care options.
